Pita’s Place Phase-Out Program
At Pita’s Place, we are committed to ensuring that women transitioning from our sober living home are equipped with the skills, support, and confidence needed to maintain long-term sobriety and independence. Our Phase-Out Program is designed to gradually empower residents by providing structured steps toward self-sufficiency while maintaining access to vital resources.
Phase 1: Stability & Skill Development (Months 1-3)
Maintain full participation in house meetings, therapy, and spiritual growth activities.
Enroll in job placement assistance, financial literacy workshops, and career readiness training.
Attend budgeting, credit-building, and savings goal workshops.
Establish personalized recovery and life plans with mentorship support.
Phase 2: Employment & Financial Readiness (Months 4-6)
Secure part-time or full-time employment while maintaining accountability within the program.
Begin saving a percentage of income toward independent living.
Transition to reduced curfew and increased personal responsibility.
Continue attending self-improvement classes, including interview prep, hair/makeup, and confidence-building workshops.
Phase 3: Transitioning to Independence (Months 7-9)
Establish stable income and financial independence plan.
Apply for permanent housing or transitional step-down programs.
Demonstrate successful budgeting and personal responsibility.
Continue mentorship and peer accountability meetings.
Phase 4: Independent Living & Continued Support (Months 10-12)
Secure independent or semi-independent housing with ongoing mentorship.
Remain connected to Pita’s Place alumni network and faith-based community.
Attend monthly check-ins and support groups.
Option to mentor newer residents in the program.
Alumni Support & Continued Connection
Even after completing the Phase-Out Program, women will have access to:
Ongoing mentorship & counseling support.
Alumni group meetings & community events.
Job networking and continued career development opportunities.
